Discord bot - Ursus Bot developed using Node.js, DiscordJS, YTDL player and deployed on Heroku for continous deployment (NOTE: no longer deployed on HEROKU due to pricing issues). Using Nodemon during development. This bot relays whether it is currently Ursus time. Ursus time is an event period in a game called MapleStory where, players get 2x the amount of money. There were other methods of knowing whether currently it’s event time through looking on websites but this was time consuming and sometimes inaccurate. I thought to develop a Discord bot as most of us use Discord when playing games and bots provided a fast real-time response. This became Ursus Bot, the bot which relays whether it’s the event period based on UTC time (As its deployed on Heroku) and has additional functionality to play music.
